Ma. Mercedes T. Rodrigo presented the paper entitled “Development of a workbench to address the educational data mining bottleneck” at the 5th International Conference on Educational Data Mining held in Chania, Greece. The conference also allowed Dr. Rodrigo the opportunity to demonstrate the workbench’s functions.
Funded under the Department of Science and Technology’s Engineering Research and Development for Technology Program, the EDM workbench is a collaboration between the Ateneo de Manila, Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and Carnegie Mellon University.
I am Zachary T. Chung, an undergraduate student and my major is BS Computer Science with AB minor in Japanese Studies. My field of interest is Japanese language pedagogy and linguistics, applied to instructional systems design. I currently teach Japanese on the side at a student organization in the Ateneo, Hinomoto.
