VR/AR/XR Panel in ToyCon 2023

Dr. Eric Cesar Vidal of ALLS attended a VR/AR/XR Panel of ToyCon PH 2023, held last July 8, 2023 at the Music Hall Stage of SM Mall of Asia. This panel was among several panels hosted during the ToyCon event by Cybercraft Philippines, an association of creative professionals tasked with promoting original Filipino digital creative IPs.

The VR/AR/XR Panel discussed the current state and future of eXtended Reality (XR) development in the Philippines, and also showcased the on-going XR work of the ALLS VAMR (Virtual, Augmented and Mixed Reality) Laboratory.

Get to know St. Ignatius of Loyola! “Iggy Speaks” is an app that narrates the life of St. Ignatius. Use the app to scan the QR codes placed on his statues around the Ateneo de Manila campus, and get a call from St. Ignatius himself. Answer the call, and you will hear St. Ignatius telling a part of his life story. Make sure to visit the different statues!

Hot-air Penguin Pair

About the Game

Hot-air Penguin Pair (HPP) is a 3rd person side-scrolling adventure experience for Android mobile devices. The protagonist is Blue, a penguin who lives in the Antarctic region, who is taken on an adventure by Red on a hot-air balloon after Red realizes how stressed Blue has been feeling lately.


Follow Blue and Red as they traverse through various locations like the Desert Wasteland and Verdant Valleys in a quest to reach Penguin Paradise and be finally relaxed!
